Ohio man Daryl Robert Harrison has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for claiming to be a Ghanaian prince.
There are three sayings that you should keep in mind concerning this post: "There's a sucker born every minute.", "A fool and his money are soon parted.", and "Ain't no future in frontin."
For over six years, Dayton, Ohio man Daryl Robert Harrison (aka Prince Daryl R. Attipoe aka Prophet Daryl R. Attipoe) was moving around town claiming to be a Ghanaian prince.
While impersonating a Ghanaian prince, Harrison ran the pockets of at least 14 people taking more than $800,000 ("A fool and his money are soon parted").
Harrison was able to accomplish this by telling said victims that he had direct connections to many African trucking and mining companies ("There's a sucker born every minute").
Harrison was eventually arrested, charged, and convicted of mail and wire fraud, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and witness tampering ("Ain't no future in frontin").
With his trial currently in progress, Harrison is facing up to 20 years in prison for his crimes.
Charlamagne Tha God, who has awarded Harrison a well-deserved Donkey Of The Day, gives his take on this situation and you can give what that is a listen below...
