October London admires “A Beautiful Woman” on his new single.
Today, a luminary of the modern R&B landscape October London releases the second single off of his forthcoming LP, “A Beautiful Woman”.
The singer-songwriter has a knack for turning the mundane into the memorable, wielding a powerful voice that leaves his imprint of intimate care on every second of the song.
“A Beautiful Woman” arrives in the midst of London’s cross-country trek in support of “The Serenade 2024 North American Tour” with 3X Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist Maxwell and 2X Grammy-winning R&B powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan.
The single separates him from the pack and sets the tone for his hotly anticipated sophomore album, ‘October Nights’, due October 11th.
The song, which opens with a bombastic crescendo of piano keys, is an indicative entry point of what fans can expect from London’s new full-length project.
It’s an impassioned exercise in songcraft and puts the soul singer’s ability to incite an emotional reaction through sound front-and-center.
London saw his first major career breakthrough in 2023 when he unleashed his critically acclaimed debut album, ‘The Rebirth Of Marvin’, featuring two No. 1 singles – “Mulholland Drive” with Snoop Dogg and Latoiya Williams, and “Back To Your Place” – both of which spent consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
“A Beautiful Woman” follows the swooning “She Keeps Calling”, which received press praise from many major media outlets.
‘October Nights’, now available for pre-save/order, is primed for widespread acclaim and features Snoop Dogg, Tyrese, Boney James, and Ledisi.
The album also boasts contributions from Priest “Soopafly” Brooks, of the West Coast hip-hop collective Tha Dogg Pound (DPGC), Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Brandon “BAM” Hodge & David Foster, and Karl Rubin, among others.
Pre-save/order the new album now on all major digital streaming platforms, and stay tuned for more from the first R&B artist signed to the relaunch of Death Row.
