NYC fans have been awarded Donkey Of The Day for throwing temper-tantrums over the Empire State Building going green for the Philadelphia Eagles.
In yesterday's (1.29.2023) NFC Championship game, the Philadelphia Eagles dog-walked the San Francisco 49ers 31-7.
In honor of the Eagles' NFC Championship victory, New York City's Empire State Building decided to hit the green and white lights for said team...

Cool, right???
Welp, New York Giants fans didn't see it that way.
The hurtage that came behind this move was nothing less than interesting.
The New York Department of Sanitation said that the move was "treacherous, traitorous and unforgivable."
The hurtage got even more serious in some of the following tweets below...

Through the NYC (or should we say Giants) hurtage taking place, it's also worth mentioning that Empire State Building eventually hit the red and yellow lights celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs' AFC Championship victory...
That hurt us more than it hurt you.

NYC already traded you to Philadelphia. Your building is in Rittenhouse Square now. Pretty nice part of town - you'll be fine!

This tweet just might be the reaction of all reactions...
If I were the social media manager for the Empire State Building, after celebrating two teams from cities who compete with New York, I would protect my Twitter account too. pic.twitter.com/ONGmybP80F
