Why the change in sound???

To be honest, there really hasn’t been a ‘change’. What you’re hearing from me has always been instilled in me. But I just had to grow up, mature, and gain a better understanding of myself as an artist as well as a human being.

Tell us about your upcoming project.

My next record sounds really good. It’s the quintessential project I wanted to make 10 years ago but again, wasn’t developed that far regarding songwriting, production, creative direction, etc.

How did you go from Nolan The Ninja to NOLAN fka???

I came up with ‘Nolan the Ninja’ when I was 15-16 years old. We’re talking 10+ years ago at this point. NOLAN is my birth name and what everybody calls me anyway. The ‘fka’ is me announcing my growth & reintroducing my craft. I’m not a ninja nor have I ever been. haha

Anything else in the works beside your upcoming project???

Yes! New music, visuals, new work, BTS with some of your favorite artists in real-time, touring, etc. Essentially, I’m just trying to keep busy.
