Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing Store Closed After Being Overwhelmed With $10 Million In Orders

Nipsey Hussle's The Marathon Clothing Store

Since his recent death, rapper/entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle’s clothing store–The Marathon Clothing–has become overwhelmed with orders from all over the United States. According to BlackBusiness.org, the store has received 2 million orders, while others have speculated that they have received $10 million in revenue from orders. Regardless, it’s been so overwhelming to the point that his business partners have decided to temporarily close the flagship store down.

Located on Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles, The Marathon Clothing store struggled to keep up with orders from fans and supporters. Unfortunately, Nipsey was gunned down in front of his store back in March 2019.

On Monday (5.6.2019), the store posted a message on Instagram to their followers letting them know that their orders are being processed and will be shipped out soon. They also sincerely thanked all of the fans for paying tribute to Nipsey by supporting his endeavor.

The message reads:

“Thank you to everyone who’s placed an order with us these last couple of weeks. We appreciate the unprecedented outpour of support. It means a lot to our team and family. We are working around the clock to fulfill every order placed. We ask for your patience…”
