Mystikal Facing Rape Charges In Louisiana

Mystikal has found himself in trouble once again after he was charged with rape over the weekend in Louisiana. According to the cops, Mystikal–born Michael Lawrence Tyler–and a man known as Averweone Holman are accused of raping a woman in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also involved in the rape is a woman named Tenichia Wafford.

According to various media outlets, Holman was arrested on Friday (8.18.2017) in Killeen, Texas and has since been charged with first-degree rape. Holman’s bond is currently set at $2 million. Mystikal is still on the run from the police facing charges of first-degree rape. As of press time, he hasn’t been arrested plus his bond has also been set at $2 million. Wafford is also on the run from the police facing charges from accessory after the fact to first-degree rape. Her bond is currently set at $200,000. She is being accused of trying to convince the alleged rape victim to drop the charges against Mystikal & Holman.

Back in 2003, Mystikal was charged with sexual assault from a case which he eventually pleaded guilty to sexual battery & extortion. He had served time in jail and was released back in 2010 on five years probation and had to register as a sex offender in Louisiana.

His comments on his sex offender status at the time were:

“I don’t do the pity party thing, I have to participate in sex offender groups and stuff like that; it don’t stop your life, man …I have the same fears that most parents have, I don’t have an offense against no young kids, or nothing like that, which don’t [sic] make my offense no better, but still, protect your kids, man, protect your kids, our kids are the most important thing we have.”
