Earlier this week, The DigiSpot ran a story on Mystikal running from the police for a rape situation in Louisiana that went down back in 2016. According to sources, the rapper has turned himself in on Monday (8.21.2017) and was later arrested & booked for first degree rape.

The Shreveport Police Department had put the arrest warrant out last week but were unable to track him down at the time, until now. According to sources, another man–Averweone Holman–was also arrested & charged in connection to the crime.

A member from Mystikal’s camp let’s it be known that the charges are nothing more than false accusations and he plans to plead not guilty when he goes to court. He is currently being held on $2 million bond as of press time.
