Toni Braxton drops her much-anticipated new single, "Deadwood", which is a jawn that puts her in an unforgiving state after being rejected by a lover.
"Deadwood" is the first single off Braxton's upcoming album, 'Sex & Cigarettes', which is set to drop in early 2018. The visuals for "Deadwood" have since been shot and Braxton claims it will be a steamy one.
Braxton says of the video:
"There's this guy in the video who is super sexy. I think we're going to see a lot of him; he's great eye candy."
In a recent interview with The Insider, Braxton had this to say about said project:
"The new album comes out at the top of the year, and it's called 'Sex & Cigarettes.' I feel like I'm older; I wanna say what I feel, I don't wanna be censored."
Braxton's last album was back in 2014 with the collabo project, 'Love, Marriage, & Divorce', with frequent collaborator Babyface. Her last solo album was back in 2010 with 'Pulse'.
"Just wanna let you know, I won't let this one go / You got me down, but I ain't out / Think you got me good, left me like some deadwood / I may be down, but I'll turn it 'round"
