Pop artist and fashion icon, Tiffany Young, spreads love this Valentine’s Day with the release of “Lips On Lips”. The single will be premiering live on air with EJ from 102.7 KIIS FM at 9:00PM PT tonight. Tiffany celebrated the anticipated release with a “Galentines” Day gathering last night via her Instagram Live, just hours before the official drop. Co-written by Tiffany, she states “I wanted to focus on romance and the sweet and special intimate moment in a kiss, and this is my fairy tale kiss in a song. Spreading love for ALL, and I hope Valentine’s Day is “Lips On Lips” day for everyone.” “Lips On Lips” is the title track off her first U.S. EP, Lips On Lips, slated for release February 22nd, 2019. Tiffany opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about her new musical era; “I’m experimental AF right now, but I’m also feeling fiercer than ever. This just felt like the right mood. Dark, edgy, romantic, raw. I’m just feeling liberated. This is my most honest and authentic self.” She further expands; “I’m not a little girl anymore. I’m a woman now and I’m calling all the shots. I know what I want, how I want it and who I want to be a part of this new era with me.”
MTV News spoke on the newly released single, “Lips On Lips”; “the melodic love song boasts a playful trop-pop beat and Young’s breathy vocals as she implores a lover to “put your lips on my lips”.” Billboard had this to say; “A sweet, bubbly electro-pop tune, “Lips On Lips” is a modern day anthem for the day of love.”
Tiffany will tour in support of the release on her SOLD OUT Lips On Lips North American Mini Showcase Tour (dates here), kicking off March 3rd in Toronto. As she embarks on the release and the tour, the young artist can also revel as the only Korean-American nominee in the iHeart Radio Music Awards in the Best Solo Breakout category; including artists, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani.
