MC Lyro is an East Coast MC from Bridgeport, CT whom has relocated to Houston since 2003. He was born in 1981 & raised by the 90’s era of Hip Hop. He is also the son of a jazz player who grew up hearing the sounds of Jazz throughout his home while his mother would jam the radio listening to her Classic & Old School R&B, these were MC Lyro’s first ears to music. He began writing as a Spoken Word Poet whom naturally evolved into an Emcee in the culture of Hip Hop.

MC Lyro is now preparing to release his first mixtape entitled ‘Lord Of The Rhymes: Return Of The King’ which is hosted by CT DJ, DJ MALO on 12.3.2014!!! Also working on his album set to release early 2015.

His new single “Walkin Stick” is a song that takes you into the profound mind of his lyricism as he describes his spiritual walk & personal issues with becoming a leader but being afraid to fail.
