Buzzing Melbourne producer, DJ, and artist Ryan Riback releases his new single, “Do You Care” featuring Iselin Solheim. The track will be distributed through RBCK Records in North America, along with Disco:wax, Liberator Records, and BMG, and is available to stream and purchase on all major digital retail outlets.

Riback has made major waves since remixing Starley’s “Call On Me” in early 2016, multi-platinum around the world and currently nominated for an ARIA award. As he gained support from heavy hitters such as Tiësto and Kygo, the remix impressively racked up over 500M+ Spotify streams and 7.41M+ SoundCloud plays. Meanwhile, his debut single “One Last Time” quickly generated 4.67M+ Spotify streams and was followed up with “Go 2.0,” a collaboration with DJ/producer Burak Yeter, released via Spinnin’ Records, which currently sits at 4.11M+ streams.

Riback has continued releasing remixes, notably Fifth Harmony’s “That’s My Girl,” Maroon 5’s “I Don’t Wanna Know,” Andy Grammer’s “Fresh Eyes,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Love So Soft,” Terror Jr’s “Come First,” and LAUV’s “I Like Me Better.” All have millions of streams across Spotify, making Riback one of the most in-demand remixers.

Referring to his remix for Kelly Clarkson, PopCrush wrote:

“The second take on “Love So Soft,” which PopCrush is premiering above, trades the track’s original production — a groovy, thick composite of horns, bass and background harmonies worthy of sermons — for progressions that’ll send you straight to the dance floor. It’s EDM-gone-soul, in which each breakdown is likely to draw a well-deserved Amen.”

“Do You Care” is a slight departure for Riback, with the apparent softness of the record; however, its memorable melody and Iselin’s haunting vocals prove to be the combination to take this seemingly downtempo record onto the dance floor.

About the song, he comments:

“‘Do You Care’ is one of my favorite records. It’s a sad song lyrically, she’s asking if someone she loves cares about her; but that sadness is juxtaposed with this sweet melody and production. Something about Iselin’s voice really spoke to me when I heard her sing for the first time. I love her soft tones and beautiful harmonies! So, while producing this record, most of my inspiration came from the tone of her vocals to guide the style of the instruments.”

“Do You Care” continues a massive 2017 for Riback. Be on the lookout for more from one of the world’s hottest young producers.
