MP3: @RichTheKid feat. @KendrickLamar – New Freezer

Rich The Kid & Kendrick Lamar link up for their new collabo single “New Freezer“. Premiered on Beats 1 Radio a while back, the duo trade verses over a Ben Jayne-produced instrumental.

Following Rich The Kid’s spits about diamonds, bands, & foreign rides, Kung Fu Kenny kicks his own verse about business meetings with Top Dawg and getting top from two sets of twins. This collabo jawn came to pass after the labelmates were introduced to one another by Manny Smith, SVP of A&R at Interscope Records.

Rich told Zane Lowe:

“He asked me to play some music for him and I played like two records I’ve been recording on my album. Right when he heard it, he was like, ‘Yo! Who else on this song?…I gotta get on this song!'”

Rich The Kid previewed the collabo track back in January 2017. “New Freezer” is set to appear on Rich The Kid’s upcoming project, which will be the follow-up to last year’s ‘Trap Talk‘ & ‘Keep Flexin‘.

According to Beats 1, Kendrick Lamar has already signed on to co-direct the single’s upcoming video – COMING SOON!!!
