The East Coast-meets-West Coast connection of Milano Constantine & Body Bag Ben share their raw and snarling new single, “Write It In Blood”, featuring frequent collaborator Planet Asia. It’s also the latest song we’re hearing from the duo’s forthcoming album of the same name.

While Ben produced nine of the album’s eleven songs, he handed over the production keys to Milano for two cuts, including the title track. And the NYC double-threat is absolutely showing off his beatmaking talents on here, as he creates a brooding atmosphere himself, Ben, and their guest to spit some hard-bodied raps.

In describing his approach to the instrumental, Milano admits he “went straight for the jugular” when producing “Write It In Blood”—and you can certainly tell. The beat is full of tension and is straight-up menacing, and the same goes for all three verses.
