I first got into deejaying in 1999, which was a great time for house music. Coming from Mexico, I have always been influenced by a multitude of sounds but house music was my first love. I spent my first 10 years spinning strictly vinyl, which I’m grateful to have established that foundation. In 2002, I moved to San Diego, which is where I reside now, and eventually joined the 8 year old radio show – Jazz 88 “iLLFONiX” hosted by Dj Sachamo.

Shortly after iLLFONiX came to an end, I started getting a bit more serious about producing my own music and released my first official ep “Noir” in 2013. Now, I continue to work as a producer as well as collaborating with other artists.

At the end of 2014, I started a monthly event called “Culture” at AC Lounge, where we bring in special guest deejays every 3rd Wednesdays. In conjunction with that I also put out a digital compilation that consists of 4-5 producers each month. It’s a free release I share through Soundcloud to shed some light on up and coming as well as already established artists. My goal is to eventually grow Culture as a music label and be able to release projects from myself and others.

In addition to Culture, you can find me every 1st Thursdays at Art in the Park (Blue Foot Bar) with Andre Power & Sufficient Sounds.

Throughout my entire deejay career, bass is what usually catches my ear first​​; whether it’s digging for music or creating it. This mix is definitely bass driven, and some of my personal favorites!
