Brooklyn artist Latasha Alcindor aka L.A. releases brand new loosie, “Thank You“, part of her new weekly “#MusicMonday” series. “Thank You” is an introspective song about self-realization & “getting through the bullshit“. On 4.2.2016, L.A. will be on Huffington Post Black Voices’ “Freestyle Fridays“, so be on the lookout for that.
“Here is “Thank You” produced by Kaui (@KauiStopPlayin) & mixed by Segnon (@Segnot). The song is Preps for my new 3 EP series called #LALytes beginning this summer. Every #musicmonday I will be releasing a track getting the matches together for what #LALytes is about to set off. So more to come every Monday until the drop.” –L.A.

Also on 3.26.2016, L.A. will be performing her “#LALytes” show at world-renowned National Sawdust in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a new series called “The Revolution” which is dedicated to highlighting Brooklyn’s most eclectic artists by occupying art & multimedia spaces in this gentrified paradigm NYC is going through. It is going to be an experience with FXWRK on the spins & “#LALytes” show for storytelling of a shorty from Brooklyn who is undergoing existentialism watching her world shift, and over time finds her magic through it.
Tickets can be bought in advance via NationalSawdust.org
