Jeezy comes back with a doubleheader in the form of his new singles featuring Puff Daddy & Tee Grizzley.
First up is “Bottles Up”, featuring Puff Daddy, which is backed by sirens, piano keys, trap drums, & Puffy’s signature ad-libs. Over all that, Jeezy spits about his Biscayne condo, diamonds floating, and Bentley coupes.
Notable Spits:
“Put your Rollies in the sky / Bottles up, hold them high / Throw some money in the sky”
In a recent interview with Beats 1, Jeezy mentioned that the Puff Daddy collabo came about after drinks between the duo explaining…
“He brought out the DeLeón and we just kicked it, vibed out the whole week, and this is what came out. This is a celebration…This is the song you play when the paycheck come in on Friday.”
From there, Jeezy goes to Detroit to link up with rising trap artist Tee Grizzley for “Cold Summer”.
Notable Spits:
“Rose gold Hummer, wife beater, chinchilla. It’s gon’ be a cold summer / Got it snowing in the city, I’m about to change the weather”
It’s currently unknown if “Bottles Up” & “Cold Summer” will end up on any upcoming projects. But time will tell as it goes on…
