Instead of using the key to eat candy at her leisure, she instead negotiated a deal with a local nail shop owner to house the machine in the shop, pocketing the profit. The joy of taking a little pressure off of her hardworking Mom by being able to treat herself to a new outfit, pair of shoes or school supplies here & there felt empowering. That same thrill being a thinker & creator propels Jasmine today.

When Jasmine decided to step out on faith by leaving her theatre roots to pursue a career in film & television, she did so without an agent, manager, nor any industry relationships. With fortitude, she found her way into Rueben Cannon’s office which resulted in her booking her first guest starring role on Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns”. Since then, Jasmine’s IMDb profile has grown significantly with stand out roles in box office #1’s & television mega hits.
