With his forthcoming album, 'Pixburgh', slated for an October 14 release, rapper Devin Miles shares a standalone single, "No Different." In their premiere of the track, Okayplayer calls it "a jazzed-up, ivory-flecked joint," adding that "there's a serious swagger to this young MC, one that isn't hinged on shiny things or acting too tough." The song is produced by Christo as Devin kicks rhymes aspired by go-getters and dream chasers.
"No Different" follows the release of the album's first single, "Came Up," which debuted via XXL earlier this month. The Adothegod production is atmospheric and as XXL mentions, it "provides a terrific backdrop to the slick lyrical styling's of Devin Miles, who sets the tone of the song from the outset with the dizzyingly catch hook." Earlier this year, Devin performed as an open for G-Eazy and Rockie Fresh on select tour dates. In July, fans got an in-depth look at his rise to prominence in a cover story feature with Jenesis Magazine. The young MC has also been getting local recognition, as he recently had a huge spread in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. With his forthcoming album, 'Pixburgh', now available for pre-order on iTunes, Devin is carving out a definitive lane for himself in the rap game, and he continues to prove why he's someone you'll want to keep your eye on.
