“Osso Buco” is the lead single from Hip-Hop recording artist Cyrano Sinatra’s upcoming LP ‘Good Eats‘ which will be totally produced by SharpCuts.
The NC Hip-Hop duo, together known as SteadyFlow, dropped a sleeper album, ‘Carlin & Pryor‘ in 2011, producing & rapping on every track with no features.
This time around, the first single for ‘Good Eats‘, “Osso Buco” features renowned poet-speaker-activist-educator, and Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship recipient Dasan Ahanu.
“Osso Buco” (ITALIAN “bone with a hole“/taken from an Italian veal dish) is the first of the aptly-named ‘Good Eats‘ LP tracks, and is a soapbox moment for Cyrano to speak on his life as a Black man in the South, and also on how it feels to live in the politically-tumultuous “Bible Belt” of North Carolina. Dasan Ahanu brings a powerful closing to articulate the experience of being an artist with a dream. SharpCuts provides a celebratory boom-bap instrumental.
‘Good Eats‘ is an upcoming album of songs written in culinary titles from Cyrano & Sharp, aka SteadyFlow.
After working on independent projects for the last couple years, Cyrano Sinatra & Sharp (aka SharpCuts) are working on a collaborative concept album entitled ‘Good Eats‘.
