For those of you you are not familiar with him, Brooklyn MC Bad Seed has had minor success in underground Hip Hop since the 90’s. Being a part of the O.B.S. crew with Jean Grae & Pumpkin Head is where he got his start in the late 90’s. After disbanding he went solo and made a buzz from working with super producer Nottz dropping the smash singles “For The Kids” & “Uhhnnhh” (which made it on Funk Flex’s ‘The Mix Tape, Vol. IV’ album). The singles got him a deal with Warner Bros in which he recorded an album that got shelved & never released.
2006 saw his debut project “Dirty Urine” which was a compilation of miscellaneous tracks. Seed is also best friends with Mims, who he helped get out to the public eye before rising to fame with “This Is Why I’m Hot”. He was featured on Mims’ debut album ‘Music Is My Savior’ alongside Bun B. 2008 saw Seed dropping his official solo album ‘Intelligently Ignant’ with the smash single “Yankee Fitted” featuring Talib Kweli & Mims and produced by the late great Kleph Dollas.
Today, Seed plans to release his final album ‘Coreyography’ in 2015 and to start things off he drops the Dr. No-produced “Caviar”.
