People like having options today, more than ever, and it makes it really difficult to dig deep with someone. This song is about the rare instance that it does in today’s ADD society. ANE (an acronym for A New Era and pronounced Ann-nee) makes music that is subtle, yet heady and equally consuming. Her enchanting mystique shines through her hypnotic songwriting, and her sultry vocals pull you in over the unique blend of synth-pop and soul.
