Shade45 Punchline Academy alumni Kromeatose and Mister Misk connect with producer Johnny Slash for their “Ghost Mantis” single and music video!!!

More times than not, life remains unpredictable.

Many things happen in a different order than wanted, or even expected.

It takes the power of patience to bring us closer to what sometimes seems so far.

The Praying Mantis, or in this case, the “Ghost Mantis”, reminds us that patience will always remain a valuable virtue, teaching the importance of careful timing and well-thought-out actions.

Patience in many ways is a form of preparation, serving as a calculated calm before the storm.

Staten Island, New York’s own Kromeatose and Mister Misk, two-thirds of Hip-Hop collective Invaders of The Universe, unleash their latest sonic assault, “Ghost Mantis”, accompanied by a visually electrifying music video.

“Ghost Mantis” draws inspiration from an African mantis species, Phyllocrania Paradoxa (known as Ghost Mantis), known for its exceptional camouflage and deadly precision.

The haunting Johnny Slash production lays the perfect foundation for both rappers to take turns verbally striking with calculated aggression, delivering a masterclass in the art of timing.

The music video, conceptualized and executed by Tyler Harrison of Thriving Era, perfectly complements the song’s intense atmosphere.

Harrison’s seasoned artistic eye for well-framed shots and pinpoint editing further amplify the track’s impact, giving us a glimpse into the Invaders of The Universe’s unique world, where shadows dance and apex predators lurk.

When speaking about “Ghost Mantis”, Mister Misk explained, “Like the Mantis we pride ourselves as masters of camouflage. We seamlessly blend in with Gen Pop and the other walking dead, always patiently waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Kromeatose added, “Timing is everything. And the time is now for the world to meet the Ghost Mantis, a lightning bolt of power, precision, and purpose.

“Ghost Mantis” is out now to stream and cop on all major digital streaming platforms and will be featured on Kromeatose and Mister Misk’s upcoming EP, which is currently untitled, awaiting a release date.
