Republicans Matt Gaetz, Mike Loychik, and C.J. Pearson as well as others have been awarded Donkey Of The Day.

Last night (2.11.2024) was one of the biggest nights of American history: Super Bowl LVIII

From the Kansas City Chiefs 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers to Usher’s highly anticipated performance at the halftime show–which also featured performances by Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., will.i.am, Lil Jon, and Ludacris–the one thing that seemed to stand out is Andra Day’s performance of the Black National Anthem titled “Lift Every Voice and Sing” which was penned by former NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson as a poem back in 1900.

For some reason, Day’s rendition of the Black National Anthem has certain people all over the world–Republicans Matt Gaetz, Mike Loychik, and C.J. Pearson in particular–getting high blood pressure throwing temper tantrums over it.

Gaetz took to Twitter (or should we say X) to say, “They’re desecrating America’s National Anthem by playing something called the ‘Black National Anthem’.

Loychik had this to say on X, “There’s no such thing as a black national anthem. We are all AMERICANS, united by our great and beautiful Star Spangled Banner. The Super Bowl is supposed to bring us together.

C.J. Pearson had this to say on X, “Before tonight’s Super Bowl, as a young black man and proud American, let me make myself clear: There is only ONE national anthem. As there is only ONE United States of America. And it’s for EVERYONE – white, black, yellow, and even maroon. The Left’s agenda of division isn’t just needless; it’s exhausting.

There’s more but we’ll let Charlamagne Tha God take over from here…
