Lyric Michelle (@IAmLyric) & @_JackFreeman Put Their Hearts Out On 'My Pain'

Houston artist, by way of Chicago, Lyric Michelle lays her soul bare on this latest offering from her upcoming project, 'MissDirection'. Equal parts strength & vulnerability, "My Pain" is a smooth, soulful blend of flame thrown lyrics, thought-provoking spoken word, & heartfelt singing courtesy of Donte Newman & Jack Freeman respectively.

Once again, Chris Rockaway's board work provides Lyric with the perfect backdrop over which to exorcise her demons which is exactly why she is a favorite of Yahoo Music who have premiered several of Lyric's works. This go-round however, Revolt jumped at the chance to debut "My Pain" after she performed at their McDonald's-sponsored "Local Love Tour" stop in Houston.

Live performance is truly where Lyric shines though, taking her audience on a visceral journey for which they are seldom prepared & never forget. Thankfully, she routinely gets the chance at major events like A3C, SXSW, & POP Montreal because if you ask her, performing is really all she wants to do.
