Lil Nas X revealing that he had planned to collaborate with Miley Cyrus before the pandemic hit. Lil Nas X also spoke to Andy Cohen about what he did this past New Year’s Eve and what responses he got to his tweet that he needed a boyfriend to take to Aspen to celebrate the New Year.

Andy Cohen: When was the last thing that you texted, Billy Ray Cyrus?

Lil Nas X: The last thing that texted Billy Ray Cyrus was like, how, how was he doing maybe a month or so ago? Yeah. I would like to see you again,

Andy Cohen: I would like to see you and Miley do something. I remember I saw you guys at the Gucci, at the Tom Ford fashion show early this year. And I was like, ‘God, I would like to see the two of them do something together.’ Have you thought about that?

Lil Nas X: Yeah, 100. I had plans to work on this one song with Miley earlier last year, and then the pandemic happened. So we didn’t get to like meet up or anything, but, you know, maybe it’ll happen now.

Lil Nas X talks to Andy Cohen about what he did this past New Year’s Eve.

Andy Cohen: You’ve been doing a lot of tweeting about your dating life or lack thereof. I saw the tweet saying, I need a boyfriend to go to, to take, to Aspen and bring in the New Year with me. Did you get good responses to that?

Lil Nas X: I got a, I got a lot of great responses to that. I didn’t end up going to Aspen though. You know, I just chilled at home, did some planning for the New Year. You know, I sat for a minute and I was like, ‘poor me.’ And I was like, no, let’s plan let’s plan for this next year. And so what I did was I just sat down and I’m like, okay, I want to do this for this month. This, for this one, I want to drop this and that month and do this that month. And, you know, trying to eat healthier and stuff like that to get ready for when this COVID lets up.

Andy Cohen: So you kind of on New Year’s Eve, you took a minute to, you got yourself out of whatever moment, feelings you were having, and then you, you sat down and you, you kind of put, made a plan for the year together. That’s that’s great.

Lil Nas X: Yeah.
