Las Vegas Man Robert Telles Awarded Donkey Of The Day

A Las Vegas man named Robert Telles has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for killing a journalist who dragged his name through the mud.

Back in 2022, a 47-year-old (now-former) politician named Robert Telles–of Las Vegas–went out of his way to murder an investigative journalist named Jeff German, also of Las Vegas.

For the people out that don’t know, German would write article after article about Telles as well as the Clark County public administrator’s office.

Apparently, said articles were damaging to Telles political career because it made him go out of his way to go to German’s house and allegedly stab him to death.

But according to Telles…

“I’m not crazy. I’m not trying to avoid responsibility. I didn’t kill Mr. German, and I’m innocent.”

Of course, that wasn’t enough to move the jury as they have since sentenced Telles to life in prison, with the chance of being eligible for parole after 20 years, for the charge of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon against a victim 60 or older.
