Grammy-winning songwriter Joelle James releases her new single, “Been That Girl”.
About the single, James says, “‛Been That Girl’ is a great song and message that describes a new movement and stance on behalf of all girls who realize that they have more value than they thought and were not represented before now!!!”
A Berklee College of Music graduate, James was discovered by Chris Brown on YouTube and signed to a CBE/Interscope label deal.
To this day, James credits what she learned in sessions with Brown as the core of her songwriting and artistic prowess.
