Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joe Leone grew up surrounded by music.

With a church-trained voice, and his father a pastor, the values of spirituality and faith were instilled in him at an early age; which continue to shape his identity and artistic expression.

The self-taught multi-instrumentalist learned how to hone his craft in college, performing original compositions on the local Hollywood scene.

Cultivating a sound that stands out in R&B/Soul, Joe’s work ethic has seen him quickly win over audiences and build relationships in all the right places.

He’s been in the studio with R&B and Hip-hop greats such as DJ Camper, Ali Shaheed Mohammed (from A Tribe Called Quest), Sauce, Felly The Voice, Carvin Haggins, Mike City, and Gorden Campbell, among others.

In October 2024, Joe released his double single, “Over Under / Save Face”, which graced editorial playlists across Apple Music (Brown Sugar, Grown N Sexy & Love Letters), Pandora (Rhythm & Brew Station, Blueprint: Adult R&B Station & Future Soul Station), and Spotify (Fresh Finds R&B).\
