Jayden Daniels On Kevin Hart’s “Cold As Balls”

Top draft prospect Jayden Daniels speaks on getting NFL advice from Lamar Jackson and CJ Stroud plus dishes on Heisman Trophy on Kevin Hart’s “Cold As Balls”.

We share today’s episode of Kevin Hart’s “Cold As Balls” from LOL Network that just dropped starring Jayden Daniels.

The Heisman Trophy winner tells host Kevin Hart where his mind is at going into this week’s draft and how he is getting advice from Lamar Jackson and CJ Stroud.

He also dishes on the biggest difference between LSU and ASU (and the shock playing with Maason Smith for the first time), and how he thought he lost his chance at winning the Heisman Trophy.

Daniels also admits that he knew from early on in high school that he was going to dominate in FB, and chose to be QB because he selfishly wanted to always have the ball.

Some highlights from the episode include:

  • Jayden knew he was good when at age 14, he was dominating 17 and 18 year olds in the game. He wanted to be QB out the gate because he selfishly always wanted to have the ball in his hand. (1:19 -1:46)
  • Daniels jokes his Dad is his biggest hater and messes with him saying, “You suck…I was better than you at your age” (1:47 – 2:31)
  • Jayden dished on the difference between LSU and Arizona State – at LSU there were 6’6’’ 300 lb bodies that could chase him down. When first playing against teammate Maason Smith he thought, “He’s movin’ i’m like I’m not used to this, I gotta stay away from them” (6:25 – 7:06)
  • Daniels says he thought he was out of the running for the Heisman Trophy after the game against Alabama when he got knocked out, However, the next game against Florida he really turned it around and become the first player in college FB history to throw over 350 yds and rush for over 200 yds (8:12 – 10:28)
  • Jayden dishes on where his mind is at going into the NFL and how he is getting advice from Lamar Jackson and CJ Stroud. Both players are giving little nuggets to him to give him an idea of what he’s getting himself into. (11:00 – 11:36)

New episodes will air Tuesdays on the Laugh Out Loud YouTube channel, as well as Hart’s Instagram page.

Season 10 of “Cold as Balls” concludes next week with Cowboys LB Micah Parsons.
