Fresh off selling a minority share in his Tidal streaming service, Jay Z continues to make moves in the corporate world as he is reportedly setting up his own venture capital fund with his partner Jay Brown, who also happens to be president of Jigga’s Roc Nation entertainment company. This venture capital fund will also be set up in partnership with Sherpa Capital, which also holds stakes in Uber, Airbnb, & Slack, according to its official website.

Jay himself has made investments in companies such as Uber & Tidal while his Roc Nation company has made investments in private jet service BlackJet & audio company Devialet. His venture capital fund, which doesn’t have a name at the time of this writing, will focus on start-ups as well as technology companies.

This good news comes at a good time as the ‘Reasonable Doubt‘ rappers wife, Beyoncé, recently announced they have twins on the way. The DigiSpot congratulates Hova on his new venture capital fund as well as his future business endeavors.
