Jay-Z Performs 'Numb/Encore' As Tribute To Deceased Linkin Park Member, Chester Bennington

Last night (8.19.2017), Jay-Z went to England for what was said to be “his only UK appearance of 2017” for this year’s sold-out V-Fest event. The highly-praised rhyme-slinger had–according to sources–performed a mix of old material, music from his recently released album ‘4:44‘, before closing his set out by paying homage to the late Chester Bennington (of Linkin Park).

The tribute performance went with Jigga asking the lighting technician to dim the lights then asking the concert audience to “light it up tonight, for Chester. For Linkin Park one time tonight. Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight,” right before putting on his performance of “Numb/Encore“. You can give Hov’s tribute performance a watch below…
