Last week (4.14.2023 to be exact), Jay-Z put on a private performance at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris for the “Basquiat x Warhol. Painting Four Hands” exhibition.

At that concert, Jigga shared a snippet of a song that happened to be a mashup of his 2009 hit “Empire State Of Mind” and the late poet/singer Gil Scott-Heron’s “New York Is Killing Me”.
