“How To Murder Your Husband” Novelist Nancy Crampton Brophy Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Murdering Her Husband

Today’s Donkey Of The Day is a perfect example of how art imitates life (and/or how life imitates art in this case).

Back in 2011, novelist Nancy Crampton Brophy wrote an essay titled “How To Murder Your Husband” on the now-private blog SeeJanePublish.

Seven years later (September 2018 to be exact), Crampton Brophy would be arrested for living out what was written in said essay which would not be permitted as evidence in her trial.

While the essay was not used as evidence in said trail, Crampton Brophy was still found guilty of murdering her husband Daniel Brophy.

On top of that, she has been awarded Donkey Of The Day as a result.
