Heidi Klum sat down with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up this week to promote her new song “Chai Tea With Heidi”.

Talking to SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1, Heidi Klum shared how she got Snoop Dogg to be featured on her song and what her children think of her singing career.

I love Snoop Dogg so much. And he was everything and more. Like he couldn’t have been nicer. You know, he went immediately in the vocal booth and was rapping. And I was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this is happening. Please someone pinch me. This is like my biggest dream come true.’

I didn’t have so much of a problem going into the vocal booth because I do a lot of voiceovers for different things. So I’m not really that scared in that sense because I said to Snoop already. I’m like, ‘If anyone has the sniffles on the Super Bowl, I’m there.’

The Morning Mash Up hosted by SiriusXM’s Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson and Stanley T airs every morning on SiriusXM Hits 1.

Heidi Klum’s Family Reacts To Snoop Dogg Song:

Nicole Ryan: You have a daughter who is like a super model now, and she’s kind of becoming a superstar in her own right. What does she think of the song and the fact that you’re even putting out a song, let alone with Snoop?

Heidi Klum: The plus points I got for my kids, because honestly, normally anything you do as a parent, I mean, you breathing that’s already too much for the kids. But obviously they all know Snoop Dogg and they’re all big into Hip Hop. And so they were like, “I can’t believe mom, you’re doing a song with Snoop Dogg.” I’m like, “OK. So I’m not embarrassing any of you guys, this is all cool.” And they were like, “no thumbs up.” I guess, four kids so they were all good with it.

How Did Heidi Klum Get Snoop Dogg On a Track?

Heidi Klum: I love Snoop Dogg. Like why don’t I do a duet with Snoop Dogg? And they were like, “Really? With Snoop Dogg? That sounds amazing. Like do you know each other?” And I’m like, “Well, I feel like I know him enough over the years that I feel like I can, you know, call him up and just ask him.” And so I really literally just did. I called him up and I said, “Hey, do you wanna do this song with me for my TV show in Germany? And hey, while we’re at it, we might as well just like put it out in the world.” And he was like, “Yeah, you know, let’s do it. Come to Inglewood and let’s see what we can do.” So I got in the car and I drove to Inglewood to his studio, which is the most amazing studio. Incredible. I mean, he has a basketball court in there. He has a radio station. The garage with all of his amazing cars. He was like, “Yeah, for the music video, which car do you want?” I mean, it was so amazing. I love Snoop Dogg so much. And he was everything and more. Like he couldn’t have been nicer. You know, he went immediately in the vocal booth and was rapping. And I was like, “Oh my God, I can’t believe this is happening. Please someone pinch me. This is like my biggest dream come true.” I didn’t have so much of a problem going into the vocal booth because I do a lot of voiceovers for different things.
