Georgia man Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr. has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for asking for his guns and ammo back.

It was that one fateful day, 1.6.2021 to be exact, that Georgia man Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr. (then 53 years old) wanted to take part in.

Unfortunately for him, Meredith arrived in Washington, D.C. that evening… after the riots had already went down.

While he missed his opportunity to storm the Capitol with his group, it didn’t stop Meredith from sending the following text to his uncle…

“Thinking about heading over to Pelosi C***’s speech and putting a bullet in her noggin on Live TV [purple devil emoji].”

This was the beginning of the end for Meredith as it resulted in his family reporting him to the FBI.

When the Feds caught up to Meredith, they were able to seize a Glock 19 nine-millimeter pistol, a Tavor X95 assault rifle, as well as hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Among other things, the threats as well as the guns and ammo in his possession resulted in Meredith being charged with transmitting a threat in interstate commerce, possession of an unregistered firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

After doing 28 months in prison for the charges mentioned above, Meredith thought it was a good idea to ask for his confiscated guns and ammo back in order for him to sell.

Meredith has also been awarded a well-deserved Donkey Of The Day for his overall stupidity in this situation, including asking for his guns and ammo back in particular.
