Florida man Robert Brush has been awarded Donkey Of The Day.
Not too long ago, a Polk County Sheriff’s deputy had pulled over 46-year-old Robert Brush–of Lake Wales, Florida–for a minor traffic infraction.
Unfortunately for Brush, the routine traffic stop eventually became a drug bust when he handed over his license to said deputy.
When brush handed over his license to the deputy, it happened to be covered in methamphetamine.
Afterwards, a drug dog was brought onto the scene to search Brush’s car.
Thanks to the drug dog, deputies were able to find a baggie full of 14.23 grams of meth plus another bag with 2.08 grams of more meth.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter to say, “Amazingly, it’s not the first time someone has handed over their license covered with an illegal substance.”
On Sunday, January 21st, at about 6:00 pm, a PCSO deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Watkins Road in Haines City.
The driver was identified as 46-year old Robert Brush of Lake Wales.
