Florida man Lantz Kurtz has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for stealing dog food from gas station and leaving debit card behind.

What time is that, you ask???

That time that “Donkey Of The Day” and “Florida” get used in the same context again… and again LOL!!!

This time around, the focus is on a 21-year-old man named Lantz Kurtz.

This past Sunday morning (2.5.2023), Kurtz was caught on camera stealing a few things (including dog food, antifreeze, cigarillos, and an electronic tobacco device) after breaking into a Palm Coast gas station from the back.

After pulling this jackmove off, Kurtz thought it was a good idea to leave his debit card behind.

His reasoning behind this was “So that I could come back later and pay for it. Just so they knew my name, you know? Just in case I got picked up. I didn’t want to steal anything. You know, that’s against the law. I don’t know if they teach you guys that.”

Sheriff Rick Staly had this to say “He must have really wanted those items to break into a closed convenience store to get them. Leaving a debit card behind does not absolve you from theft or committing a burglary.”

Kurtz has since been arrested and charged with armed burglary of a dwelling/structure and petit theft plus been released on $10,000 bond.

Along with the consequences he suffered for his actions, Kurtz is also being awarded a well-deserved Donkey Of The Day by Charlamagne Tha God.
