A Florida man named Jeremy Lang has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for stealing from Jesus.

Picking up from yesterday, Charlamagne Tha God continues the Florida Edition of his Donkey Of The Day segment.

This time around, the focus happens to be on a 20-year-old man named Jeremy Lang of Pensacola, Florida.

Lang allegedly went to a total of seven churches to commit a series of burglaries before being arrested and charged with burglary, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, providing a false name to law enforcement, possession of a concealed firearm under 21 years old, possession of a firearm by an adjudicated felon delinquent, and possession of burglary tools.

Pensacola Police had this to say in a statement…

Lang has been charged with one of the church burglaries, and additional burglary charges in the other cases are pending. An inventory of items taken from the churches is still being compiled.

Since then, Lang has been hit with additional charges which you can give a read below…

  • Five church burglary charges
  • Five criminal mischief charges
  • Three larceny charges
  • One motor vehicle burglary charge

It’s also worth mentioning that the Pensacola Police Department were able to find the following in Lang’s search history after digging and scratching through his cell phone…

  • “How to cut a shirt into a mask”
  • “Where do church keep money”
  • “Do churches have safe’s”
  • “events where you raise money in Pensacola”

Pensacola Police Officer Mike Wood had this to say after Lang was allegedly caught on security camera/s…

Security around churches is very important, not only when it’s in session but obviously after hours. It’s not common, but usually when it happens it’s by the same person like here. We’re just fortunate that nobody was hurt and we got him off the street.

Lang is sitting in Escambia County Jail without bond at the time of this post.
