Ex-Governor Phil Bryant Awarded Donkey Of The Day For Helping Brett Favre Obtain $5 Million In Welfare Funds For Volleyball Stadium

Ex-governor of Mississippi Phil Bryant has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for helping ex-NFL player Brett Favre obtain $5 Million in welfare funds for volleyball stadium.

There's an old saying and that saying is "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer".

Keeping today's Donkey Of The Day in mind, that old saying couldn't be anymore true.

Back in 2017, ex-governor of Mississippi Phil Bryant (who left office back in 2020) dipped into the government's welfare fund which was intended for Mississippi's low-income families.

Bryant (who might be possibly related to Emmett Till's accuser Carolyn Bryant) moved that money out through a nonprofit group (known as the Mississippi Community Education Center) and spent on a new $5 million volleyball facility at The University of Southern Mississippi which ex-Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre as well as the governor attended.

There's more but we'll let Charlamagne Tha God take over from here…
