VannDigital.com brings you four new artists for the July 2014 edition of the “Artists 2 Watch” column. Hope the 4th of July was good to everybody & we’ll be back next month.

Matt Reed:
Matt Reed (a VannDigital.com regular since 2011) is the latest of Dallas recording artists making a name for themselves in the rap game. With 2 mixtapes (‘The Red Room Project‘ & ‘Built 2 Last‘) & a recently dropped album (‘The Matt Reed Project‘) under his belt, Reed shows no signs of slowing down. You can give his new single “Kickin’ Flava” (which appears on ‘The Matt Reed Project‘) a listen.

DREW:
Not too familiar with DMV rapper DREW yet. But you can give his recent jawn “You Can’t Hide, You Can’t Run” which is a remix of Dilated Peoples 2006 track of the same name.

Lamel:
Orange County, California rapper Lamel brings the West Coast boom bap sound that’s mostly associated with underground/indie rappers within the West Coast hip hop scene. You can give your ears to his latest track “Informants” which will appear on his upcoming project ‘Sincerely Yours‘ – COMING SOON!!!

Gadiva:
Philadelphia native & Atlanta resident Gadiva is the type of female rapper you don’t see everyday. Gadiva is 1 of those rare female rappers that’s not scared to be herself especially since she doesn’t have to show any skin to get people to listen to her music. Not only that, Gadiva also brings versatility to her craft when it comes to her subject matter. Evidence of this can be found on her latest track “Bad Girls“.
