Shook Ones is a great instrumental to showcase rapping skill. It's grimy with hard hitting snares that remind you of the back alleys of New York. When one hears this beat they immediately think "hip-hop". This is what people mean when they say "real rap". And the bars go right along with it. With chilling lines such as ".."Nuff shots to share for all those who wanna profile and pose, rock you in your face, stab your brain with your nosebone..."
