Chris Brown would rather have an assault conviction on his record than continue with the case. This morning (September 2nd), Brown pled guilty to misdemeanor assault of a man outside a Washington, D.C. hotel.
Brown admitted to punching Parker Adams outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. last October. Adams suffered a broken nose as a result of the altercation.
Brown was sentenced to time served after spending two nights in a D.C jail in connection to the case and 131 days in a California prison after a judge revoked Brown’s probation from his 2009 assault charge. Brown’s attorney. Danny Onorato stated at the hearing “to say that he’s been punished severely in this matter is an understatement.”
