Devin Malik joins ScHoolBoy Q on “Blue Lips Weekends Tour”
Hot off the release of his debut EP, the SoCal rapper is ready to hit the stage with his mentor and TDE labelmate
Recently releasing his debut EP and announcing his signing to TDE as a producer, SoCal rapper Devin Malik has been on a hot streak lately.
Today, he announces that he will be joining ScHoolboy Q on the “Blue Lips Weekend Tour”.
Presented by TDE, the 18-date summer tour kicks off in Toronto, Canada on July 18th and includes major cities across North America like Chicago, Atlanta, and New York City, before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA on August 18th .
“Blue Lips Weekend Tour” will be Devin Malik’s first-ever official tour and the first time he plays fan-favorite tracks from his new EP, ‘DEADSTOCK‘, for a live audience.
The “Blue Lips Weekend Tour” continues Devin Malik’s red hot 2024.
Last month, the young artist released his debut EP ‘DEADSTOCK’, receiving praise from many major media outlets.
Earlier this year, Devin produced and rapped on multiple tracks from ScHoolboy Q’s album ‘BLUE LIPS’, including album highlights “Back N Love” and “Love Birds”, featuring Lance Skiiiwalker.
Behind the scenes, Devin contributed his production talents to the ScHoolboy Q album on tracks like “NuNu”, “oHio” and “Smile”.
After years of steady rise, and a recent co-sign from the one-and-only Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q has taken Devin Malik under his wing, nurturing him to become the next talent to emerge from the TDE orbit.
Most recently, he vibed out with Kendrick Lamar on stage at his historic “Pop Out” LA show on Juneteenth during one of the performances of “Not Like Us”.
