On September 5th, Set Free and Land Rover Brooklyn will unite for the debut of the bold new Defender OCTA, Land Rover’s most powerful and luxurious vehicle ever built, offering guests an exclusive preview of the vehicle.

The exclusive collaborative event will be hosted by Set Free at his newly reimagined Compound Art & Sound Gallery in Brooklyn.

Set Free Richardson, a cultural innovator renowned for expertly juxtaposing art, film, and music, brings his unique vision and passion to this unprecedented collaboration.

His deep-rooted relationship with Land Rover has inspired this event, promising a night of creativity and innovation like no other.

Described by MotorTrend.com as “the most badass Defender Land Rover can build within the confines of the law,” the Defender OCTA is the most extreme Defender ever built, boasting unmatched capability both on and off-road, powered by an exciting 635PS 4.4-litre Twin Turbo mild hybrid V8 engine.

The Defender OCTA reaches up to 155mph when fitted with 22-inch lightweight alloy wheels and all-season tires.

After its initial opening, Compound Art & Sound Gallery, an innovative cultural hub initially based in the Bronx, has relocated to Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The gallery, owned and creatively directed by the visionary Set Free Richardson, is reimagined as a versatile “blank space canvas” where brands and creatives across various mediums can narrate their stories and unveil their latest endeavors.

The Land Rover Defender OCTA debut event on September 5th will serve as the grand reopening of the popular gallery.

The new location amplifies the gallery’s commitment to the arts, expanding its boundaries by integrating a unique Japanese-inspired record bar.

This distinctive feature is enhanced by state-of-the-art HIFI audio systems provided by the esteemed local partner Resolution Audio.
