Colorado Pastor Eli Regalado Awarded Donkey Of The Day

A Colorado pastor named Eli Regalado has been awarded Donkey Of The Day.

A Colorado-based pastor by the name of Eli Regalado is on the hook by the Colorado Division of Securities for allegedly pocketing $1.3 million through a cryptocurrency fraud scheme via an online church.

According to a video statement from Regalado, him and his wife Kaitlyn pocketed the money from their INDXcoin cryptocurrency because “the Lord told him to,”…

Well apparently, the Colorado Division of Securities said that the Regalados have been charged with violating anti-fraud provisions under the Colorado Securities Act.

Colorado Securities Commissioner Tung Chan had this to say in a statement…

“We allege that Mr. Regalado took advantage of the trust and faith of his own Christian community and that he peddled outlandish promises of wealth to them when he sold them essentially worthless cryptocurrencies.”
