Cilla Raie releases her brand new EP ‘Reconnected’.

Emerging UK R&B singer/songwriter Cilla Raie from North London gears up to release her brand new second EP, ‘Reconnected’, her long-awaited contribution to the UK R&B scene.

‘Reconnected’ is a 360 experience which touches on the journey of embracing pain and heartache. The underlying lyricism expresses knowing her self worth, in her most vulnerable song to date “Oh God”. To then being ready to take on the world once again with the closing song “U & I”. “The key message to take from this body of work, is to always remember you can reconnect with yourself and put your crown back on (which is the meaning of the EP cover)” says Cilla.

‘Reconnected’ features US star Tiffany Evans (best known for “Promise Ring” featuring Ciara and “Textin My Ex” featuring T-Pain) and UK Grime artist Subten. The producers involved in the making of the project includes Joey Dyer (Iggy Azalea), Peddy Pro, XVR Blck (Cherry V, Lylo Gold), and DJ Walter Ego. So far the leading singles “Motives” and “Open For Love” have received support from all major media outlets, including first-play premiere with DJ Ace on BBC 1xtra and Nadia Jae.

Cilla Raie began recording music at just 14-years-old with producer DaVinChe (Stormzy, Skepta, Wiley) and Jackie Davison MBE (Wayne Hector) during the early stages of her musical journey. In 2014, Cilla Raie released her first self-titled debut EP which was produced by Sillky (Mabel, Teedra Moses, Craig David) and The Arcade (Doja Cat, Khalid, Migos).

She later embarked on a national tour with legislation group UK Music and has been previously supported by MOBO Awards, Reprezent, and many more. The EP ‘Reconnected’ is proudly supported by Arts England/National Lottery.
