Cardi B stopped by the SiriusXM studios to promote her new song, “Bongos”, with Megan Thee Stallion.
Cardi B also sat down with SiriusXM’s “The Morning Mash Up” on SiriusXM Hits 1.
During the interview, Cardi B discussed how she was introduced to the Migos and how she didn’t think she would marry one of them.
Cardi also describing her relationship with Offset as “Yin & Yang”.
Cardi B Describes Relationship with Offset as “Yin & Yang”:
Nicole Ryan: Do you feel like that’s part of the success of your relationship that you need that fire?
Cardi B: Oh, we do be needing that fire and we’re like, I mean like, you know. You know what I’m saying? Like, we do be needing that fire. I mean, we’re two different people, like we’re very, very like different from each other, but I think that’s what make us-
Nicole Ryan: Work.
Cardi B: That’s what make us work. Like, we’re very different.
Nicole Ryan: Yin and yang.
Cardi B: Yin and yang for real, but one thing that we like both love, we both love family. That’s one thing and we both love what we do, like we both, we are each other’s support system. I know that he backs me up a hundred percent and I back him up a hundred percent. I don’t care.
When Cardi B Was Introduced To Migos:
Cardi B: I got introduced to Migos in the club, like I remember like it was yesterday. When I first heard the Migo music, this DJ called DJ Spanking that we were really good friends, he stopped the music and he was like, “This is the hottest song right now in Atlanta. I’m telling you right now that this is gonna take over,” and then he started playing “Versace” by Migos, and I’m like-
Nicole Ryan: I bet when you first heard that, you didn’t think you’d marry one of them.
Cardi B: Never. Never. Never, never, never, never would’ve thought that.
