Canadian woman Daniella Alexandra Leis has been awarded Donkey Of The Day for causing $10 million house explosion while driving drunk.

Back in 2019 (8.14.2019 to be exact), then-23-year-old Daniella Alexandra Leis–of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada–was driving home from a Marilyn Manson concert at the Budweiser Gardens arena in London, Ontario drunk out of her mind.

Before she knew it, Leis had crashed into a brick home hitting a gas line eventually causing a big ass explosion which amounted to over $10 million worth of damages.

The whole neighborhood had to be evacuated as a result of the mentioned explosion.

Because of this as well as some of the victims injured (no deaths were reported) included two police officers and two firefighters, Leis would end up facing 12 charges behind this crime.

Leis has since been sentenced to 3 years in prison because of her fucked up decision-making.

On top of her jail time, Leis is also facing civil lawsuits out the ass.

Leis took advantage of this moment to sue Ovations Ontario Food Services, the company that provided the food and drinks at Budweiser Gardens at the time as well as now, feeling that they should share liability.
