As anybody that followed Mase can recall, Murda Mase became Pastor Mason Betha after much success with Bad Boy Records back in 1999. From there, Mase would play the flip-flop game jumping back & forth between Murda Mase & Pastor Mason Betha until maybe a few years ago.

According to Cam’ron:

“Mase–at 22 years-old–had 10 million but shit got aggressive for him, so he turned into a pastor.”
