Bravado and Selfridges London partner for exclusive Lil Wayne pop-up shop opening June 6th
The collection celebrates the release of the rap icon’s new album, ‘Tha Carter VI’
Bravado, the world’s leading artist merchandise and lifestyle company, and Selfridges London have teamed up for a two-week Lil Wayne Pop-Up Shop opening today at the high-end department store’s flagship location on Oxford Street.
The exclusive collection celebrates the five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rap icon’s new album, ‘Tha Carter VI’, released today on all major digital streaming platforms via Young Money Records/Republic Records.
Fans can stop by the immersive Lil Wayne experience in Selfridges Men’s Designer Street Room now through June 23.
Inspired by the cover art theme of Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter VI’ and his previous ‘Tha Carter’ series albums, the Selfridges pop-up shop decor is a throwback to Lil Wayne’s youth with gold-framed photos of the influential, Diamond-certified rapper as a young boy.
The floor is covered by a giant vinyl record-shaped mat of the new album.
The pop-up shop features ‘Tha Carter VI’ t-shirts and hoodies, additional collaborations with BAPE (one of his favorite brands), and custom Lil Wayne skateboard decks in a nod to his pro-skater status.
Selfridges London is the only place that UK fans can shop for this collection in-person.
